ABOUT ME
Kate Sterquell is a 22-year-old disabled model and actress in Gig Harbor, Washington.
She is a professional model who has been in the industry for over a year. She has experience in runway, commercial, high fashion, swimsuit, beauty, athletics, hair and more. She has been published in 303 Magazine and an amateur photographer that frequently conceptualizes and executes her photoshoots independently.
She has over six years of experience in theatre, both onstage and backstage, as well as experience as a teacher for a middle school advanced theatre class (2018-2019) and a high school intro to theatre class (2019).
She has acted in seven shows and worked in eight shows as a member of the tech crew, in sound and stage management.
She created the theatre program at STEM School Highlands Ranch in 2017, her freshman year of high school, and managed the program until her graduation.

She won a Supreme rating and invitation to nationals for a group musical theatre performance at Thescon in 2018. She also worked as the musical director and character development coach for the 2023 STEM School Highlands Ranch Spring Musical, The Little Mermaid Jr.

Are you signed with an agency?
Yes! I am currently represented by Southwest Model and Talent.

Can you model without a medical device?
For photography, my mobility aids are entirely optional! For the runway, I will use either a cane or a rollator (I typically leave this decision up to the designer). If the runway is short enough, I can walk on my own in flat/platform shoes.
I have a central line, a small medical device about 3" away from my collarbone on the right side, in order to receive artificial nutrition. This device is inside of my body and cannot be removed. It can be easily covered or edited out of photos if necessary.
